Gopi Tirth is a sacred shrine located at foothills of Zaberwan mountains, just above the village of Nishat. This is a sacred placed which has been frequented by great Shaiva masters for centuries. Ishwar Ashram Trust (Kashmir Shaiva Institute), with its own resources and with generous help from overseas devotees (predominantly Dr M K Razdan) has already renovated the temple area of the shrine .
As continuing part of Phase I, Ishwar Ashram Trust (Kashmir Shaiva Institute) plans to construct two 1 BHK sets along with a meditation hall just adjacent to the shrine. Away from the hustle and bustle of the cities, this project is aimed to provide everyone a place to stay and rediscover one's true self. This sacred location along with very serene and quiet surroundings provides an ideal environment for this purpose. Ishwar Ashram Trust hereby requests all devotees/disciples, individuals, firms and companies to contribute in this noble cause.
All donations to the Trust stand exempted under 80-G of Income Tax Act.
